These powerful changes are summarized in Maharishi%u2019s %u201cFundamentals of Progress%u201d: stability, adaptability, purification, integration, and growth.As we explore TM%u2019s effects, we will see how it fulfills each of these fundamentals on the level of the body (physiological), the mind (psychological), for the society as a whole (sociological), and for the environment (ecological). OK, how will TM help my mind?Rest is the basis of all our activity. The clarity of our thinking depends on how rested we are. Success depends on the quality of our thinking. Clear, direct thoughts are the basis of effective, rewarding actions. Psychologists estimate that we use from 5%u201315% of our mental potential.
