107This is a study of how the Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique affected the work experience of TMers in their primary work organization compared to non-TMers. The study found that TM signifi cantly improves job satisfaction, job performance, and relations with supervisors and co-workers. TMers also felt more satisfaction with their work environments, as indicated by decreased desire to change jobs.At every level of organization, performance improved when the members practiced TM. Within the organizational structure, TMers succeeded more quickly and experienced less anxiety. Their fellow employees saw them as moving ahead quickly. This indicates that a faster pace of progress is natural for a person practicing the Transcendental Meditation technique.
