It is like the noise and chaos of life are turned down to a quieter level. They are still there but now I can handle them.I%u2019ve been surprised by how much energy I have after TM. In the past I%u2019ve usually felt drained by early afternoon, but a 20-minute session of TM revives me and makes me feel more ready to tackle the rest of my day. I feel generally more at ease and able to handle the stressors of the Emergency Department in a calmer and more steady manner. I get angry much less often, and I have a generally increased sense of compassion for my patients. I feel that I am taking more time to connect with them, and I think this will prevent burnout and improve their care.
