290Where does Maharishi come in?Maharishi taught continuously throughout the world beginning in 1955. This was in response to the tremendous need of our age for a simple technique to transform life from suffering and struggle to joy and accomplishment. Everywhere he went, he inspired people with his vision of a world free from suffering. During his lifetime he personally trained and qualified all teachers of the TM program and he guided all phases of the growing worldwide TM organization.
